Abstract
The construction project plays a pivotal role in a country's infrastructure and economic growth, garnering central attention in recent decades. Project success is gauged by achieving critical objectives like cost, time, and quality. However, workplace accidents frequently haunt construction projects, driven by factors like disorganization, the project's unstructured nature, and interpersonal conflicts. These accidents lead to productivity losses, decreased performance, and diminished project quality. Evaluating project implementers' performance in addressing safety and occupational health issues becomes crucial. Despite meticulous planning, risks persist, often resulting in safety negligence on-site. Consequently, implementing Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) becomes imperative, involving equipment readiness, work discipline, and adherence to stringent procedures. The SWOT method evaluates accident risks to identify causes and guide prevention. The research aims to guide the enhancement of OHS implementation in the construction project of Universitas Kadiri's building. The conclusion asserts that human resources significantly impact accident risk, while the company's influence is less pronounced. Both factors contribute to workplace accident risk. Utilizing the SWOT-identified SO strategy involves strategic steps like reinforcing safety training, improving personal protective equipment availability, enhancing communication, integrating inspections, and enforcing project regulations to bolster workplace safety in the construction project of Universitas Kadiri's building.
