Abstract

Community welfare is one of the crucial indicators in evaluating the achievement of regional development programs. The financial condition of a region, reflected by the efficiency, effectiveness, and transparency of fund management, is assumed to have a direct and positive impact on the welfare of the population. This study aims to examine the influence of regional monetary performance on community welfare across all local government units in East Java Province. The research method used is a regression study utilizing primary data obtained from regional financial documents and community welfare indexes. The results of this study indicate that improvements in regional financial performance significantly contribute to the level of community welfare.
