Abstract
The addition of 10% Rice Husk Ash (RHA) to concrete has demonstrated variability in compressive strength performance, with some studies noting an improvement, while others recorded a considerable decrease. These variations are potentially caused by a limited number of samples and a lack of control over key variables such as material quality, mix proportions, mixing methods, and curing processes. By utilizing nine samples per variable, this study enhances data stability and minimizes the influence of random factors. Compressive strength testing at 7 days demonstrates that increasing the sample size significantly reduces result variability, with a low coefficient of variation (CV) of 2.26%. This improved consistency confirms that previous instability can be mitigated through a more systematic testing approach. These findings provide a stronger foundation for the utilization of RHA as a more reliable concrete additive with stable mechanical properties. Further research is needed to evaluate the durability of concrete with RHA to investigate the lifespan and resilience of concrete incorporating and conduct microstructural analysis to optimize its application in sustainable construction. Keywords : Rice Husk Ash, Concrete Strength, Data Consistency, Sample Size, Cement Substitution.
