Abstract

The use of added materials becomes very important in the process of making concrete because the benefits of added materials are directly proportional to the current needs of concrete. This research was conducted to determine how the effect of the use of added ingredients Master Ease 5010 and Grace Darachem on concrete mixtures FC '31.2 MPa using experimental methods. The specimen used was cylindrical with a height of 30cm and a diameter of 15 cm. The variation of admixture Master Ease 5010 and Grace Darachem are 1.5% and 3% by weight of the cement used. Tests carried out at the age of 28 days. In a fresh concrete slump, testing is carried out, while in hard concrete compressive strength testing is performed. The results showed that the highest compressive strength was achieved by the addition of a Master Ease 5010 percentage of 1.5% with a slump value of 0.9 cm and a compressive strength of FC '37.41 Mpa Keywords: Master Ease 5010, Grace Darachem, Slump, Compressive Strength
