Abstract

The level of health in Indonesia can be influenced by the level of public awareness and can be overcome by changes in people's behavior. This study aims to determine how the knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of the community in understanding choosing safe drugs in Pandanmulyo Village, Jatisari Village, Tangkilsari Village in T Kerajinan District, Malang Regency. This study used a quantitative descriptive method with a cross-sectional research design. This research technique was to distribute questionnaires to 300 respondents in three villages consisting of questionnaires on knowledge, attitudes, and behavior in understanding choosing safe drugs. The results showed that in Pandanmulyo Village, the percentage of knowledge was 65% with good criteria, the percentage of attitude was 75% with sufficient criteria, and the percentage of behavior was 69% with bad criteria. In Jatisari Village, the percentage of knowledge obtained is 79% with poor criteria, the attitude percentage is 81% with sufficient criteria, and the percentage of behavior is 56% with good criteria. In Tangkilsari Village, the percentage of knowledge is 67% with good criteria, the attitude percentage is 51% with good criteria, and the behavior percentage is 91% with bad criteria. Based on the calculation of the average of the three villages, the highest result was 61% with high criteria. Keywords: Knowledge, Attitude, Behavior, Understanding of choosing safe drugs
