Abstract

Soybean is one type of secondary crop which is an important food ingredient as a high source of protein. In order to meet the needs for food and nutrition as well as the need for industrial raw materials, soybeans are one of the most profitable commodities for farmers' income. This study aims to determine the level of costs and acceptance as well as the benefits of soybean farming. The hypothesis in this study is that soybean farming is suspected to be profitable. The research was conducted in Kerjo Village, Karangan District, Trenggalek Regency by using the census method. Data analysis used statistical analysis with the Z test. From the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that the soybean farming in Kerjo Village, Karangan District, Trenggalek Regency, the total cost used is Rp. 11,141,937 per hectare, this cost includes labor costs, land rental costs, seed costs, medicine costs, fertilizer costs, and other costs. Production of 2,397 kg / ha at a price of Rp. 7,000 per kg, the revenue obtained is Rp. 16,779,000, -. The profit is Rp. 5,637,063, -. From statistical analysis Z count 8.54> Z table 1.65 (significant). Keywords: Soybean Farming Profit Analysis
