Abstract

Employers should take occupational safety and health issues seriously as they have a big impact on how productive workers are on construction projects. Due to the fact that many employees neglect occupational safety and health while working, there is a greater possibility of work accidents. It has been found that most work accidents occur in construction projects when this criterion is neglected, to affect the ability of the workforce to complete the project. Thus, a solid foundation for occupational safety and health is needed in the construction industry. This study aims to determine the most common types of work accidents. A quantitative descriptive methodology was used in this investigation. The study includes laborers, contractors, project guards, foremen, and implementers who were involved in the construction of the Bulungan Bulungan Regency bridge. The sample for this study consisted of 30 respondents. Delivering questionnaires to individuals in order to gather data. The validity, reliability, normality, and hypothesis testing of the data collecting findings were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics 26. According to the study’s findings, workers at the bridge construction project in Bulungan Regency were more productive after implementing occupational safety and health (K3). A bridge is being built by Bulungan Regency. These parts, or the things that are connected to them, significantly affect how occupational safety and health (K3) issues are addressed.
