Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has affected all aspects of people's lives. One of them is the world economy. This also has an impact on the economy in Indonesia. OJK has grouped several sectors that have the potential to not survive the Covid-19 pandemic, one of which is the mining sector. However, the mining sector also makes a large contribution to the Indonesian economy. This research aims to test whether there are significant differences in the financial performance of mining companies before the Covid-19 pandemic and after the Covid-19 pandemic. All information is obtained from the official website, namely www.idx.co.id, in the form of mining company financial reports. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling to sort mining sector companies according to criteria. This research uses the Wilcoxon signed rank test to test hypotheses with the help of SPSS version 23. The results of this research show that the current ratio is 0.865 > 0.05, the debt to assets ratio is 0.733 > 0.05, the total asset turnover is 0.950 > 0.05 and the resulting net profit margin is 0.594 > 0.05. With this, mining sector companies do not experience significant differences in company financial performance before Covid-19 and after Covid-19.
