Abstract
In field implementation, a problem that often occurs in concrete application is the relatively long hardening time for concrete to achieve the target quality. To overcome this problem, an additive in the form of Master Pozzolith is needed to overcome the hardening time of the concrete. An additive in the form of Master Pozzolith is used to produce much needed water. Meanwhile, the determining parameter of this research is normal concrete quality with the same maintenance time. The job mix formula or JMF used in making modified concrete and normal concrete has the same proportions with the addition of additives as a differentiator. The use of Master Pozzolith content is obtained from designing a Job mix design with cement as the determining parameter. The methods used to determine compressive strength values based on the material mixing process are the slump test and vibrator test. Concrete with the addition of 0.2% Master Pozzolith obtained a compressive strength value of 10.44 Mpa, lower than concrete using a 0.3% content of 13 Mpa with an average vibrator duration of 3.3 minutes. From these results, it can be concluded that modified concrete has a higher compressive strength value than normal concrete with a quality difference of 2.56 Mpa. Keywords : Master Pozzolith, Compressive Strength, Additive, Concrete, Job Mix Formula
