Abstract

Dry heat sterilizer is a sterilization tool using a high temperature method. This tool can usually be found in laboratory rooms, because this tool functions to sterilize medical equipment. The very rapid development of technology has made various medical activities and equipment increasingly modern, where many medical tools are very sophisticated, as are sterilizers. Fuzzy logic is a decision support system that can be implemented to regulate temperature in dry heat sterilizers. The aim of this research is to implement Fuzzy Mamdani logic in setting the temperature in the sterilizer. The inputs used are sensor1 and sensor2. This research will be carried out with the help of Arduino software to make Fuzzy coding easier. Based on the results of implementing Fuzzy Mamdani logic on the sterilizer for temperature regulation, the average error results for sensor1 and sensor2 when the heater is on are (-1.75)˚C and (-2.25)˚C, whereas when the heater is off the average is sensor1 and sensor2 errors are 6.25˚C and 7˚C. Where the deviation is still within the tolerance limit, namely ±10˚C. This shows that the Fuzzy Mamdani logo is good to use for setting the temperature on sterilizers. Keywords: Sterilizer, fuzzy logic, mamdani method
