Abstract

This intersection is a fairly congested intersection, this is because at side of the intersection there are markets, settlements, Terminal places, Alun - alun-alun and the intersection is the access road of Blitar - Malang public transportation.The purpose of this study is to describe the degree of saturation that occurs at the intersection of 4 arms of the Kalipang Highway, the required travel speed on the road segment This is in connection with the movement of traffic flow at the present time and in the next 5 years with the 1997 MKJI standard, and provides alternative solutions to the problem. litian shows that the performance of the north side road on the existing condition (Year 2029) v / c ratio of 0.61, south side road v / c ratio of 0.72, west side road v / c ratio of 0.99 and, road east side v / c ratio of 0.95. There has been an increase in the planned year with the construction of 2019 on the north side Road section in existing conditions (2019) v / c ratio of 0.72, south side road v / c ratio of 0, 71, the west side road v / c ratio of 0.64 and, the east side road v / c ratio of 0.68, this condition can reduce speed and limit the driver in driving. According to the 1997 MKJI the results obtained are 4 Lodoyo intersections in the period of the year 2019 - 2029 will increase in volume which is estimated that the average level of service is C. From the results of the calculation of the average volume of vehicles and knowing volume forecasts in the coming 2019-2029 it is expected that there is an alternative planning to overcome problems for the future is widening road and give traffic lights.
