Abstract

The Podorejo-Tunggangri Road Section is a direct access that connects Podorejo Village and Tunggangri Village. This road segment has a major influence on economic development between rural areas. In the average daily traffic analysis, Jalan Podorejo-Tunggangri is also traversed by heavy vehicles, resulting in damage on a frequent scale. Thus, it is necessary to re-plan the pavement thickness for the Podorejo-Tunggangri Road infrastructure with more complex technical calculations. The purpose of this research is to find out the appropriate thickness of asphalt pavement on the Podorejo-Tunggangri road section. Road is a land transportation infrastructure that covers all parts of the road, including auxiliary buildings and equipment intended for traffic. Calculations using the Bina Marga method. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the thickness of the flexible pavement on the Podorejo-Tunggangri road section can be planned with a 5cm thick laston, 20cm thick crushed stone, and 14cm thick sandstone. The roadside channel discharge on the Podorejo-Tunggangri road section was obtained 1.03 mᶾ/s > 0.9 mᶾ/s, with a planned channel size of 0.5m wide and 0.6m deep. So that the calculation results can be used as a reference for planning the thickness of the Podorejo-Tunggangri Road pavement. Keywords : Road, Drainage, Transportation, Traffic, Infrastructure
