Abstract
The management of water resources in irrigation areas is based on reliable debits with the K-factor as a measure of success. With climate change, many irrigated areas often experience drought and crop failure. Doubts about the effectiveness of the use of K-factor in the management of water resources, inspire the need for studies on the use of management thresholds. This study uses the reliability index (Ia) and resilience index (Ik) in the management of the Notog irrigation area, the Pemali river basin. The existence of the nature of the flow implies that each irrigation area has a different threshold. The concept has been tested in the Notog irrigation area, with initial values of Ia ≥0.75 and Ik ≥0.5. The results of the analysis show that the value of Ia ≥0.75 can be achieved, but the value of Ik ≥0.5 is difficult. This situation is consistent with the drought phenomenon that is often experienced by the Notog irrigation area. The research results prove that the K-factor alone cannot guarantee a good yield. Keywords: K-index factor, index-reliability, resilience
