Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how training and development of human resources have an impact on the performance of employees of CIMB Niaga Kediri Branch, with work motivation as an intervening variable. This research uses quantitative methods because the data is in the form of numbers and analyzed using statistics. In addition, this research fulfills scientific principles such as concrete, objective, measurable, rational, and systematic. The population of this study consisted of employees of financial institutions totaling 200 employees. While the sample was 67 respondents. Data collection techniques using questionnaires (questionnaires), observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis methods with descriptive analysis and Partial Least Square (PLS). From the results of this study it can be concluded that: (1) Based on data processing with the bootstrapping method, training has a positive impact on employee performance. (2) The results of data analysis with the bootstrapping method show a positive relationship between work quality and human resource growth. (3) The results of data analysis with the bootstrapping method show a positive relationship between training and motivation. (4) The results of data analysis conducted using the bootstrapping method produced large positive results regarding HR development on motivation. (5) The results of data analysis carried out using the bootstrapping method produced large positive results regarding motivation to performance. (6) The relationship between work quality which is influenced by good motivation is large. (7) The relationship between HR development strategies that are influenced by good motivation is great.
