Abstract
This research is entitled the influence of Instagram social media on tourist visits (study on the Sedudo Waterfall tourist attraction. This research aims to find out the influence of Instagram social media on tourist visits to the Sedudo Waterfall tourist destination in Nganjuk City. Information and communication systems continue to develop in line with Technological advances in devices such as laptops, tablets, smartphones and various other gadgets. This research aims to determine the influence of social media platforms (Instagram) on increasing tourist visits to the Sedudo Waterfall tourist attraction in Nganjuk In this research, the most number of visitors from Sedudo Nganjuk Waterfall in the year 2023 were 4,873 tourists from Sedudo Nganjuk Waterfall with a sample of 100 respondents. The results of this research show that variable X (Medos Instagram) has a significant influence on variable Y because the Sig value. for X is 0, which means p-value < 0.05. In addition, the regression coefficient (B) for X is 0.531, indicating that every 1 unit increase in Instagram Medos will increase the Y value by 0.531 units. The conclusion from the research results is that there is a positive and significant influence of the social media variable (X) on tourist visits (Y).
