Abstract

Water is an important natural resource and living creatures, especially humans. Water comes from rainwater, surface water and groundwater. Drainage channels are complementary structures on roads to fulfill one of the technical requirements for road infrastructure. This system functions to reduce excessive water from an area or land, which can cause socio-economic losses in particular. . The condition of the Jalan Bedug Village area, Ngadiluwih District, is an area prone to flood disasters due to the lack of rain catchment areas, the unstructured drainage network in the area causing the water flow to stagnate, this is made worse by the condition of the drainage being covered by sedimentation. Solutions for handling flood disasters can be implemented as early as possible by the relevant parties so that during the rainy season no detrimental flood disasters occur. This research was conducted to find out how much influence was given in planning the drainage system on the Bedug Village road. The analysis and calculations in this final project show that it is necessary to widen and deepen the drainage channels Keywords: Flood, Drainage, Road, Runoff.
