Abstract

In technological developments, concrete has progressed very rapidly, thus opening up ideas about the use of organic materials as alternative materials for making concrete. Coral stone is a type of coarse aggregate that can be used as a mixture for concrete. Good coarse aggregate can increase the strength and resistance of concrete to pressure and tensile forces as well as increase strength and resistance to corrosion. The research method used in this research is an experimental method with the characteristics of Trenggalek stone in concrete. This research aims to determine how much influence there is on compressive strength and slump value, using Trenggalek stone with size variations of 10 mm, 20 mm and 40 mm. The research results show that the normal compressive strength of concrete with a variation of 10 mm has an average Fc value of 12.18 Mpa. Normal concrete of the 20 mm variety has an average Fc value of 5.89 Mpa. Normal concrete of the 40 mm variety has an average Fc value of 9.73 Mpa. So it can be concluded that the results of the compressive strength of the concrete are far from the concrete quality standard of 21.7 Mpa. Keywords: Concrete Fc' 21.7 Mpa, Trenggalek Stone, Compressive Strength
