Abstract
Elevation is an important aspect in construction projects, especially in areas with uneven mountainous land contours. Cut and fill work is a solution to overcome the differences in elevation. This study aims to plan the use of heavy equipment on the Probolinggo-Banyuwangi Toll Road Package 3 project in Paiton District, Probolinggo Regency. Calculations are carried out manually with productivity formulas and cost analysis to ensure that the work is carried out effectively and on time. The four planned heavy equipment are excavator buckets with a productivity of 53.85 m³/hour (4 units, Rp 993,325,475/hour), excavator breaker 18.33 m³/hour (10 units, Rp 2,676,240,000/hour), bulldozer 134.60 m³/hour (2 units, Rp 397,800,569/hour), and dump trucks 31.70 m³/hour (7 units, Rp 1,559,643,449/hour). With efficient planning, this research is expected to provide optimal contribution in the utilization of heavy equipment, especially in cut and fill work, for cost and time efficiency in toll road construction.
