Abstract
This study aims to determine the analgesic effectiveness of kepok banana peel extract in mice induced by pain using acetic intraperitoneally. The method used in this research is experimental. By using 25 mice, body weight 20-30 grams, mice were divided into 5 groups randomly. The first group was given Mefenamic Acid as a positive control, the second group was given 1% Na-CMC as a negative group, white the third, fourth and fitth groups were given a dose of kepok banana peel extract at a dose of 100 mg/kgBW, 200 mg/kgBW and 400 mg/kgBW. Observations were made by looking at the amount of stretching of the mice for 5 minutes for 1 hour. The results showed that a dose of 400mg/kgBW was able to provide the best analgesic effect comparable to the analgesic power in the positive group.
