Abstract
Many workers neglect work safety and health when doing work, so the chance of work accidents is greater. The purpose of this study was to determine the types of work accidents, the causes of work accidents and the most dominant factors. The research population of 115 workers in Building A includes: workers, builders, project guards, foremen, executors and management staff. The sample in this study amounted to 53 respondents. Data collection by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The results of data collection were tested for validity, reliability testing and statistical frequency analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics 25 software. The results of the study the types of workplace accidents that occur are (1) Touched objects that are not moving (tripping) have occurred. (2) hitting a hammer has occurred, and the type of work accident causing injury to a part of the body is (1) a part of the hand has occurred. While the types of causes of occupational accidents that occur are from workers factors (1) physical conditions that do not support low, (2) low humility. The most dominant factor among the types of work accidents and the causes of work accidents that occur in the Joint Lecture Building Construction Project at the State University of Malang are the types of work accidents in statement X1.1 (Touched objects that don't move / stumble) with a value of 90, 60%.
