Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of Return on Equity and Return on Investment on stock prices partially and simultaneously in coal mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population used is 11 coal mining companies. The research method used is quantitative with a descriptive research approach. With financial data for a period of 4 years, the analytical technique used is the Classical Assumption Test consisting of Normality Test, Multicollinearity Test, Heteroscedasticity Test, Autocorrelation Test and Multiple Linear Regression Test consisting of t-test, F-test, Coefficient of Determination Test with the help of SPSS for windows version 16.0. The results of this study indicate that Return on Equity has a significant effect on stock prices partially with a sig t value of 0.004. Return on Investment ratio has a significant effect on stock prices partially with a sig t value of 0.000, Return on Equity and Return on Investment ratios have a significant effect on stock prices simultaneously with a sig F value of 0.001.
