Abstract

Work delays often occur due to differences in site conditions, changes in plans, climate impacts, and errors in project management. Project delays can be anticipated by accelerating (Time Cost Trade Off) in its implementation, however, it must remain focused on the cost factor incurred so that it is maintained. In this study, we analyzed the acceleration of the UPT LLAJ Madiun Rehabilitation project by using an alternative acceleration by adding 3 hours of overtime. The purpose of this research is to find out the difference between normal costs and time with those that have been accelerated. The total project cost under normal conditions is IDR 717,152,510 with a normal duration of 78.8 days. From the results of the acceleration research, it was found that the total cost after acceleration was IDR 793,825,425 with a duration of 75.4 days after the acceleration of the project was held or 4.3% faster than the normal duration.
