Abstract

This study aims to determine the income analysis of seaweed farmers in Kalala Beach, Wulla Waijelu District, East Sumba Regency. The type of data used in this study is quantitative data using primary data sources and secondary data. Sampling was determined using the slovin formula, namely 51 farmers from 105 populations. The data analysis technique used to determine the production and income of seaweed farming (Eucheuma Cottoni) for seaweed farmers in Kalala Beach, Wulla Waijelu District, East Sumba Regency, uses income analysis. The results showed that the average yield of seaweed farmers was 412 kg per season and the average production per stretch was 4 kg with an average of 102 ropes. From the production results, it can be calculated that the average revenue is IDR 12,358,824 per season and the average net income is IDR 8,699,581 per season.
