Abstract
Good governance (good governance) is one of the most important aspects in a service, good governance can be interpreted as the embodiment of democratic government, which means that government is open to criticism and control is entirely in the people. This study aims to find out how the principles of good governance are applied to the government of Karangsoko Village, Trenggalek District, Trenggalek Regency and what are the inhibiting factors for the application of the principles of good governance to the Karangsoko Village government, Trenggalek District, Trenggalek Regency. This study focuses on expert opinion, namely (Sedarmayanti 2012: 7) About the principles of good governance are as follows Participation, Transparency, Responsiveness, Equity, Effectiveness and Efficiency, Accountability.
