Abstract
The ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System for the Kediri Airport Project is based on the need to improve the quality and operational effectiveness of the Kediri Airport development project. ISO 9001:2000 is an international standard that establishes requirements for a Quality Management System that can be applied to various types of organizations, including construction projects. In this context, the implementation of the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System can help ensure that the project meets specified quality requirements, including customer satisfaction, occupational safety and environmental sustainability. By implementing the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System, the Kediri Airport project can gain benefits such as increased efficiency, improved quality control, and increased customer satisfaction. The ISO 9001:2000 standard requires organizations to identify and control risks, conduct regular internal audits, and involve all relevant parties in decision-making and continuous improvement. By conducting this research, it is hoped that the results will provide a better understanding of the benefits and challenges of implementing the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System in construction projects such as Kediri Airport.
