Abstract

Employees are important assets for the company, companies must pay attention to employee performance so that it does not decrease and does not harm the company. There are several factors that can affect employee performance, namely employee morale, where employee morale is influenced by leadership and compensation. The purpose of this study was (1) to determine the effect of leadership on employee performance at CV Sinar Mentari Sukses (2) to determine the effect of compensation on employee performance at CV Sinar Mentari Sukses (3) to determine leadership and compensation on employee performance at CV Sinar Mentari Sukses. This study uses an explanatory quantitative approach (explanatory research) which explains the causal relationship between variables through a hypothetical relationship. using a sample of 38 respondents. Sampling using a saturated sample technique with the characteristics of employees of CV Sinar Mentari Sukses Tulungagung. The data collection method used is data collection techniques with questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis used is the Validity Test, Reliability Test, Classical Assumption Test, Multiple Regression Analysis Test, Coefficient of Determination Test (R2), and Hypothesis Testing. The results of the partial test (t test) of the leadership variable have no positive and significant effect on employee performance. The results of the partial test (t test) of the compensation variable have a significant and significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneous test results (f test) that leadership and compensation have a significant and significant effect on employee performance. Keywords: leadership, compensation and employee performance
