Abstract
This research aims to examine the joint and individual influences of compensation and work discipline on employee performance at Rahayu Building Store in Kediri City. Utilizing a quantitative research design, the study evaluates hypotheses using numerical data. The entire population of 36 employees was included in the sample using a saturated sampling method, as the sample size equaled the population. Data analysis was conducted through multiple linear regression techniques. The findings reveal that compensation, when considered individually, does not significantly affect employee performance, indicated by a significance value of 0.312 (> 0.05). In contrast, work discipline has a significant and positive effect on performance, with a significance value of 0.006 (< 0.05) and a t-value of 2.967, exceeding the critical t-value of 2.035. Additionally, the combined effect of compensation and work discipline on employee performance is statistically significant, as shown by the F-test result with a significance level of 0.021 (< 0.05). Among these two variables, work discipline is identified as the most influential factor, supported by the highest standardized beta coefficient (0.460) and a lower p-value compared to that of compensation.
