Abstract

Village apparatus is an important part of development in the community environment and also determines the level of success in planning in the community environment and service to the community. In managing governance in the Village, the performance of Village Officials cannot be separated from the effectiveness of their performance. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the performance of Kranggan village officials, Gurah district, Kediri regency. The author's research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, so that this research is expected to be able to gather broader information, design and explore the phenomena that occur in the object of study. Besides that, descriptive and qualitative research can explain and describe the conditions that occur in the field. The results obtained in this study indicate that the Performance Effectiveness of Village Officials in Gurah District, Kediri Regency is quite good in carrying out their respective duties and functions in terms of work skills, increased achievement, adaptability, and being able to deal with change. The effectiveness of this performance will affect the evaluation and trust of the community towards village officials, so that it can increase employee morale and motivation to provide better service and performance.
