Abstract

This study aims to investigate the performance of the Road Maintenance Rapid Response Unit in District of Nganjuk and analyze the factors that support/inhibit the performance of the Road Maintenance Rapid Response Unit in District of Nganjuk, using a qualitative approach, descriptive type. Data collection techniques with interviews, observation and documentation. Key Informants are the Head of UPTD for road and bridge management, supervisors and members of URCPJ. Data analysis with data reduction, data display and conclusion. The results of the study showed that the performance of the Road Maintenance Rapid Response Unit in District of Nganjuk was not optimal. This can be seen from several aspects. One, productivity that shows service effectiveness and efficiency is good. Two, responsiveness in recognizing the needs of members is still not optimal. Third, which shows that the level of responsibility that shows that there is no annual work plan, standard operating procedures, and work appraisal guidelines. Four, accountability which shows that the report is still not in order. Judging from the factors that affect performance, one, the structure and design of work, office facilities and facilities, work environment and rewards greatly affect a person's performance. Two, human resources in quantity still require additional manpower. Third, the financial budget available is still not sufficient, especially for road maintenance operations.
